My crochet corner and all my projects

When we get to the campground I always set up my crochet corner first thing. I love it. Makes me happy.

While on our vacation I made:

8 baby hats (for Caps to the Capital)
4 dishcloths
3 granny squares (for my JC friends afghan)
2 kitchen towels
1 small purse
11 squares for an "Inga's crocheted bag" (5 more to go) and
7 squares for a "Babette" afghan (a ton more to go)

I was busy, busy. :)

Scrap afghan

For the 2 hour trip to the campground I brought along all my scrap yarn and rolled them into balls. 2 are all light colors and 1 is all dark colors. I just tie the ends together and start rolling. I am making a scrap granny afghan.

More Nekki

Here are a couple more pictures of Nekki. He's such a handful. :) He'll be on his way to Florida in the morning. I'm gonna miss him.

Nekki went to work with me - here are a few pictures. He got to meet a new friend and he got in trouble with my boss - seems he told a couple customers that we would fix their cars for free. :)

Nekki the traveling frog

I belong to a crochet group and one of the members, Fran, crocheted a little frog. He quickly became the little darling of the group because of all the pictures Fran posted of him. I think it was Marilyn that had the idea to let Nekki visit the members personally, so he has been traveling around spreading joy. He arrived at my house yesterday evening - just so cute. Nekki (which is short for Nekkid frog) will be going to work with me today - I hope he behaves himself. :)

Yarn haul

Woo hoo!! Look at the yarn haul I got today. The 4 skeins of Patons Twister (at the bottom of the picture) I got from the Dollar store. I already have 6 but since I decided I'm going to use this yarn in an afghan for me I thought I should go get more. The rest of the yarn in the picture is from Joann Fabrics. All are on clearance for either $.97c each or $1.97 each. The only exception is the pink Royale thread - that one was regular price at $2.49. I'm very happy right now. :)
