Finished up my scrap granny last night. It measures 39" square - funny - it seemed alot bigger when I was working on it. The border is 1 round of sc, then 1 round of ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc. All the scrap yarns used to crochet this large granny are Sayelle, Vanna's, Bernat, Caron and of course, my all-time favorite - Red Heart. Yes - I much prefer the Red Heart yarns. Don't hate. :)
It became a nice one!
ReplyDeleteYour granny is very nice! I wonder how do you join yarns and make the ties invisible? Or you don't tie and use some other technique?
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies.
ReplyDeleteI tie the ends with knots and then weave the ends in. Kind of a pain in the butt. For my scrap projects I usually like to just leave them out. :)
It's always such a good feeling to finish a project. Good job, Debi!
ReplyDeleteThanks MamaLezlie. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a good idea! It always seems so much easier to join yarn scraps here, there and everywhere when you are crocheting something than it is with knitting LOL
