** There is a vast amount of crochet patterns published both in print and on the internet, and although all of my patterns come from my imagination and are written down as I crochet the item, if you believe that any of my patterns resemble someone else's pattern, please email me at dlyrs@juno.com or you can leave me a comment here on my blog. If my pattern was created after the one in question - it will be removed. Thank you. :) **

Scrap granny - final

Finished up my scrap granny last night. It measures 39" square - funny - it seemed alot bigger when I was working on it. The border is 1 round of sc, then 1 round of ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc. All the scrap yarns used to crochet this large granny are Sayelle, Vanna's, Bernat, Caron and of course, my all-time favorite - Red Heart. Yes - I much prefer the Red Heart yarns. Don't hate. :)

  1. Your granny is very nice! I wonder how do you join yarns and make the ties invisible? Or you don't tie and use some other technique?

  2. Thanks ladies.

I tie the ends with knots and then weave the ends in. Kind of a pain in the butt. For my scrap projects I usually like to just leave them out. :)

  3. It's always such a good feeling to finish a project. Good job, Debi!

  4. This is such a good idea! It always seems so much easier to join yarn scraps here, there and everywhere when you are crocheting something than it is with knitting LOL

Thanks for taking the time to leave a message - it always puts a smile on my face. If you have a question - post it here and check back - I will always answer you. :)
