~ African flower mat ~

I crocheted this african flower mat for the side cabinet in my dining room. I envisioned a field of pretty flowers laying in variegated green grass but I don't think it came out as pretty in real life as it did in my mind. I do think it's pretty - just not as pretty.   :)


(I used RHSS, Bernat and Vanna's Choice yarns for the african flowers - the variegated green was a bag of mill ends I bought in Canada a few years back - and a "J" hook.)
