~ Cup o' cactus ~

I bought this cute sunflower cup (it's a large one) at the thrift store for only 69 cents last Thursday.  I didn't notice it had a crack until I brought it home.  Rats.  What to do?  What to do?  Well - plant a cactus in it - that's what.  It's now residing at my kitchen window.  :)

  1. Great idea. It looks just right. Better than throwing it out or spending the gas money and hassle to take it back!

I like your new hexagon afghan also for the form and all those colors: I believe they will put you in a good mood.

  7. Perfect! now you won't have to worry about water leaking out of it as you'll hardly ever need to water the cactus in the first place :)
