~ 3rd baby blankie and my night-time workspace ~

Here's my 3rd baby blankie.  The pattern is 'Soft Waves' by Jan Eaton from the book '200 Ripple Stitch Patterns' that was published in 2006.  I used all Red Heart Super Saver yarns (that I had in my stash) with a J hook and it measures 21" x 28".  Now I'll just toss it in the dryer for about 20 minutes and it will be soft as butter.  :)

This is my night-time workspace.  I've been sitting in this spot since we bought our house in 1985.  Well, same spot, different couches.  :)

If you have a favorite workspace - blog about it - I'd love to have a peek.  :)

  1. Pretty baby blanket Debi; I like the edging you used too. Your crochet corner looks comfy and I LOVE your African flower blanket that's on the back of the sofa. I really should make one of those with my scraps. Have a great day! :-)

  2. I like the colors you used. They're nice and spring-like. I need a light like yours. DH likes to have the lights dim in the evening when he watches television.

  4. Lovely little blanket. You sure are busy with lots of projects on the hook. Enjoy! I have my own little spot where I sit and craft/crochet/blog the nite away. :) Have a great week. Tammy

  5. The blanket is lovely! Your workspace is so nice and tidy. I wouldn't even take a picture of mine -- it's not so tidy. ;-)

  8. Love the blankie, Debi. Very nice! :) Also enjoyed seeing your crochet corner. Sometimes I crochet back here in my craft room, but when I'm crocheting in the living room there is a certain spot I sit to crochet. The other night my 25 yr. old son was sitting there, and when I came in the room to crochet, I said to him "do you crochet?". He knew I was giving him hassle about sitting in my crochet spot. :D

  9. Thank you all ladies. :)

Sharon Marie - my eyes aren't what they used to be so I need all the light I can get.

Bev - my area is usually messy too. I took the picture at the beginning of my crochet time.

Gramma Rita - that's funny. When I walk into the living room, whomever is sitting in my seat always gets up without me asking. They know it's my spot.

  12. The baby blanket is so pretty, well done!
LOL! My nighttime crochet spot is aweful you wouldn't want to see it! Too much junk and stuff just piled up, it's where I watch TV at night, but it has good lighting, I must admit. ;)
