~ On my hooks ~

1.  a scrappy round ripple

2.  'round in circles' blanket

3.  3 'dly's baby blankies'
      - 1 with regular grannies
      - 1 with squircle v2 squares
      - 'Soft Waves' ripple

4.  tote bag

5.  a cake

6.  TMNT hat for my grandson J

  4. Busy lady! I don't plan out that much because I can overwhelm myself pdq. Need to finish the hooded scarf this weekend and then finish an ufo that's been languishing for almost a year. I'll be looking forward to seeing pictures of your things. :)

I wonder if you've ever had trouble with the ripple baby blanket bunching up in the middle or curling up on the edges as if there are too many stitches in the center compared to not enough stitches in the outer rows? My first attempt has done this and would do much better as a round tablecloth! I have double checked my work again and again against the pattern and am sure I followed the pattern precisely. Perhaps my yarn (typical red heart) or my gauge although it was going great until row 5 or 6? Do you have any advice?

    Ladyfromthewoods - I haven't had any problems with the round ripple pattern itself, but for the last round I sc in the skipped 2 stitches in between the points so it will lay flatter Could you show me a picture of your round ripple and maybe I can figure out what's going on.
