~ baby blankie 15b ~

Finished this baby blankie 2 nights ago.  It measures 28" and I crocheted it with 4 skeins of Red Heart Stripes - the color name is 'cancun stripe'.  The pattern is a repeat of 1 round granny and then 1 round dc with (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the corners.  It's very similar to Sarah London's pattern.    The border is a simple 1 round of sc, then 1 round of sc, ch 2, skip next sc.  :)

  6. What gorgeous colors! A simple blanket made more special because of the coloring. I haven't tried this yarn yet, but it is on my 'to-do' list. Happy Sunday!

  10. Its turned out very nice! I wouldn't have thought of doing the double crochet in between the granny rows. Thanks for sharing the idea!

  14. I like the colors of this yarn. I get sooo bored doing granny. Love it when it's small but when it gets bigger it seems to take forever.
