Sorry you haven't been feeling well, Debi, and hope you feel better soon. Love this pentagon! Reminds me of a bird house...and I love birds. :D
I felt challenged when I saw your post about assembling the pentagons. The only thing I could find that that I could find was at http://crochet.about.com/od/motifs/ss/aa070805.htm?nl . You may need a filler motif. Doesn't show a picture though and I'm not quite visualizing it. Maybe you'll have better luck since you have the pentagons to play around with.
Take a few days and go back to it. My brain didn't function at all while I had a cold. I had to pack to leave for my brother's place. I realized days later that I'd packed terrible shoes, a useless jacket and about ten pounds of makeup (when I pretty much don't wear makeup). Go figure. Things finally make sense again now that I'm better!
I think that you will have to add different shapes to it Debi, maybe pink squares would be nice. It's very pretty, I hope your cold is better soon.xx
Thanks ladies. :)Thanks Sharon - I'll have to check that out. :)
I don't think regular pentagons tessellate, so I think you'll need a filler shape.
Sorry you are not well :((As for crocheting your baby blanket together I will have to wait for your next posting,, I would have sc them together.. I am not very good at flat braiding joins..
Happy New Year!I love your flower pentagon. I hope ou feel better soon.
How pretty, can't wait to see it put together. Sorry about the cold, hope its gone pronto!
Ohhhhh, me likey!
What a lovely piece! :) Happy new year!
Debi ~ I hope you don't mind that I posted a picture on The Crochet Way page that links back to my blog and advertises a crochet-along I just started today. I've created a group over on Flickr also. Let me know if this is not okay and I'll remove it.
Thanks everyone. :)Pammy Sue - sure, that is fine with me.
Hope you feel better Debi! I've had what I thought was a head cold for over 4 weeks. Turns out it's a sinus infection and then I came down with a UTI. Went to the doc Friday morning and got Leaviquin (sp?). Powerful antibiotic that you have to eat yogurt while taking or you get thrush or yeast infection. Don't need either of those!!
Do a soccer ball pattern, with the pentagons and hexagons as fillers. Or maybe some of the super cute wiggle triangles would allow for a flatter piece when assembled? I have adorable pentagon patterns that I am trying to figure out how to assemble into a blanket as well. Can't wait to see what you decide!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a message - it always puts a smile on my face. If you have a question - post it here and check back - I will always answer you. :)
