~ a whole bunch of stuff ~

There's a new board up for 'The Crochet Way'.  Head on over to add your link.
~~~
I received 2 Michaels gift cards for Christmas and I finally went shopping there on Friday.  This is what I bought - a large basket for my yarn in the living room and lots of new yarn.  Some of that yarn is being used for a baby blankie I started.
I had read a post on 'Beansie Babbles' a little bit ago and she's thinking about keeping up a tree all year to decorate for the different holidays.  I've decided that I wanted to jump on that bandwagon, so here is my little 4 foot spiral tree decorated with Valentine decorations.
~~~

These are the granny squares that I've crocheted for the 2nd installment of my granny square swap.  I'll be sending these out within the next week or so.  Thanks to all the ladies and to Rob for joining in.  :)

One last thing - here's a picture of me (under the pink check mark) learning how to throw grenades.  This picture was taken about 31 years ago.  I didn't do too well with actually hitting a target - but with hand grenades, the job gets done anyway.  :)

  1. that's a whole bunch, indeed! You've learned how to throw grenades?? Wow, I think you're probably the only crochet-lady in this online-community who can say that about herself! :)

    New yarn, oh how I would like to go shopping, too! Just yesterday John reminded me, that I've got my yarn lying around everywhere - I think he would throw a grenade *lol* at me, if I came home with even more yarn. I don't have a craft room, so my stuff is indeed lying around everywhere, that's why I really have to slow down a little I guess.

    I like the idea of the tree for a whole year - the Valentine's version looks great!! Maybe I'll take one of my artificial plants for a little seasonal decoration, too!

    Have a nice Sunday, Debi - it's always a pleasure to visit you here! ;)
