    1. The circles are made with scrap yarns and if I remember correctly, I used less than 16 oz. of the soft white.

  40. I have 36 squares done. I used 6 different colors. Should I do 6 rows by 5 rows or 6 by 6 for a baby afghan?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi there. I think 5 squares by 6 squares would be nice. :)

    2. Oh thank you for replying so quickly! I was afraid 5 rows would be too narrow, but I think the flat braiding will make up for almost another square. Thank you for this pattern. I am making two afghans for my niece who is having twins! So I have another 30 squares to make now, but it didn't take me very long to make the first 36 so I am Ok with that! Thank again!

    3. You're very welcome. Congratulations to your niece and family on the twins!! :)

  48. How would I go about creating a half square for your squircle square? I would like to make a vest, but it calls for half squares (triangularly), and I don't know how to make one.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't think this square can be a triangle because of the chain loops. I think you would have to make a plain triangle. :)
