~ Two on Tuesday ~

Two things that make me happy:

* making plans for a trip to the campground

* straigtening up my craft room

- a couple notes about the video:
   - I referred to my table as a bowling ball table - it's a bowling pins table (I don't know what I was thinking)
   - in my last video, I made mention that I was going to donate some yarn to the old folk's home - well, I took all this yarn there and the lady said "Thanks, but no thanks" - so I ended up donating the yarn to Goodwill.  My Vince made a joke with me saying that the next time I go to Goodwill I'm going to find all this yarn, get all excited and buy it all back.  He's so funny.  :)

  3. Good job! Ray has promised to build me shelves in my craft room to get rid of the storage tub piles on the floor so I'm in stand-by mode waiting for the word to clear out them out so he has room to work. Might take a while though lol!

  4. Your craft room looks great Debi. I wanted to get a better view of your pretty crochet curtain you made, it goes perfect in your room. That is funny what Vince said. :-) I wonder why the nursing home wouldn't take the yarn, I'm sure there are women there who would have loved to have it. Enjoy your day.

  9. Wow...can't believe the old folks home turned down yarn. I liked your craft room too. One of these days mine will be a lot better than it is right now.

  10. Thanks for sharing your craft room! Oh boy do I need to get my basement creative space organized and usable! After seeing yours I really want to get busy but...the ants have invaded my kitchen. This seems to be a springtime event. I woke this morning to find them in the spice cabinet. There is not one single open container of food to attract them but they insist on marching through anyway. UGH!

PS- I really chuckled at Vince's joke.

  11. Was a fun tour of your crafty room Debi. I have been cleaning mine, straightening up a bit and making it presentable. Seems like that is a never ending job. I envy your shelves, I have none except the one in the closet. I too wonder why the nursing home wouldn't accept the yarn, strange and really rather weird if you ask me. I use to work in a nursing home and we had little ladies who loved to crochet, in fact, one use to sell her crocheted stuff to the employees to make herself a bit of spending money. Not only that, they have a yearly craft show around the holidays and sell all sorts of hand made stuff. We tried to give a 36 inch Sony TV to the Goodwill and the Salvation Army. The tv has excellent color picture and is in beautiful shape, still works. The draw back is it weighs a ton and when we called to see if they wanted it they refused because it was not a flat screen. The only reason we got rid of it was because my husband wanted a bigger screen. I say it is a sad day when even charitable acts are turned down. I don't know if it is the needy people (I rather doubt it) that are so picky or if it is just a bunch of lazy employees who don't want to actually work a bit. Baffles me.
