I'm hookin' up with Stephanie at 'Simply Crochet and Other Crafts' for today's WIPW. This is a sneak peek of my next project. I'm also still working on the 2 baby blankies I showed you last week.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great crochet day. :)

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of using novelty yarn to join the squares! This looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea what you show on the photo!
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I can a unique choice of yarn for joining squares. Awesome idea! It looks beautiful! I do hope you won't mind if I borrow this idea of yours. As always, to be considerate of others, I would give you credit for the "original" idea.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind at all. :)
DeleteWhat a great idea, so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI have never used any of the "fun" yarns. How does the novelty yarn hold up to wear and washing? I love your colors, so bright.
ReplyDeleteRenee :)
Hi Renee - sorry I took so long to get back to you. I crocheted a purse with the top part being acrylic yarn and eyelash fun fur held together and it held up really well. Here's the post:

I crocheted a purple purse too, but I can't seem to find it.
Hmmm the blanket should be called A Bundle of Love because that is what I think when I see all the reds and pinks together. Ditto @Devious One -> the eyelash yarn is a super idea for joining squares. I used to use it on the brims of hats back when it was super popular.
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty!! I can't wait to see the whole project!
ReplyDeletehermoso trabajo y muy bien explicado, felicitaciones, desde Argentina te mando un fuerte abrazo y te invito a ver mi blog
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for the closed granny square pattern...do you have that on your site?
