  2. They are so pretty! It's a pitty we can never see all your blankets on 1 picture, but I'm sure all the others have kept a lot of children warm already and will do in the future.

    1. Hi Madeleine - here's the links for the pattern:

      http://hooksandyarns.blogspot.com/2010/01/round-in-circles-scarf.html

The little squares are crocheted in. They are the beginning of a granny square, then a round of sc with the corners being (sc, ch 1, sl st to the blanket, ch 1, sc) as I go.

I used the 'joining grannies' method to join the circles that is posted on the right sidebar.

    3. How did you fill in the gaps in this version?

    4. For that version, there are 2 free loops on each circle, join with a sl st to 1 loop, ch 3, treble crochet in the next loop (these 2 stitches are now crocheted into 1 stitch), treble crochet next 2 loops on the next circle together, repeat for the next 2 circles. End off and weave the tail through the tops of the treble crochets and pull tight, then weave in the rest of the tail. This version was kind of a pain in the butt for me - that's why I went with the little squares. :)
