I crafted another crochet hook handle a couple of days ago. I used Fimo white glitter and Fimo gold glitter. It's a Susan Bates size J.
I'm not too sure that I will be using this hook - would anyone like a chance to win it? If you're a follower, just leave a comment on this post only and I will draw a winner on Friday, July 13th. International followers are welcome to enter too. Good luck. :)

If you would like to craft a hook handle - go over to the right sidebar and click on the picture of the blue swirl crochet hook - it will take you to the post where I explain how to make one.

Love the hook and would love to win it. I've never worked with a hook with the "enhanced" handle. Could you also do this with the smaller thread hooks (1-14)....how would that work?
ReplyDeleteHi Linda - yes, it works with the smaller hooks. I have a few size 0 and size 1's that I use for thread work. :)
DeleteDear Debi, You are so so polite all the time.. And you are always sweetheart. Thank you very much indeed..
ReplyDeleteThe hook is absolutely wonderful. I know Susan Bates and I visited her site several times. You are really creative. Please don't worry that you're welcome. Turkey is so far from you. You must pay so much money for sending it If I win. I want to give my luck and my chance to all my dear friends happily..
You are a really good friend..:))
It is very hard to find a good friend here in these days...:-(
Thank you very much and God Bless You..
Wow it's gorgeous! What is the actual hook made of? And how did you do it? I'd love to give that a go myself!
ReplyDeleteHi Craftgirl. The handles are made of polymer clay - click on the picture of the hook over on the right sidebar and it will take you to the post where I explain how to make one. :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite hook size to use is an H; sometimes an I. I don't even look at what size is recommended. Have never used a hook with a handle -- I'm sure I would find it rather strange. Sure looks pretty though. Hope your day is great. Tammy

ReplyDeleteHi Kat. I like the hook, it's just that I have 2 favorite 'J' hooks so I probably won't use this one. Besides, it's fun to have giveaways. :)
