Two things that make me smile:
* coming home after a few days at the campground. I love the campground, but it's always good to be home.
(found this cool looking totem pole in one of the other Glens)
(I almost stepped on this tiny little fella - look down a little under Vince's hand)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I did a little crocheting while I was at the campground - motifs for a baby blanket and a placemat. I'll probably post the pattern for the placemat in a couple of days.
Thanks for dropping by. :)
hola Alina. Me gusta el mantel individual y la lana que has utilizado con el cambio de color.
Thank you Susana. :)
DeleteYour good I don't think I will ever do camping again unless I have a RV. Since I see no RV in my future looks like I won't be camping lol. Glad you had a nice time with hubby. I almost did not see that tiny little creature. Was it a frog? love your crocheting so neat and nice...Love the colors you picked out...
ReplyDeleteHi SB. We have a trailer on our camping lot - so that's good for me. I don't think I'd go if we had a tent. It's too hot for that. You can look at this post to see our campsite:
Yes, that's a tiny little frog - it was so cute. :)
wow I love it..I would definitely camp like that if I had one of those. Yea i weary about the bathroom too. All these strange bugs crawling. I will not shower alone lol. I wonder does the trailer have a built in private shower lol..I know its not camping if its that way lol...I am one of those women that has to have everything at my disposal LOL.
DeleteOur trailer did have a bathroom at one point before we bought it, but my husband took out the toilet and the shower because they were both gross and broken. We decided not to fix them since the bath-house is right across the street from the trailer. :)
DeleteNeat little frog or toad. You are always crocheting something pretty Debi. Hope you enjoyed your time at your camp. Heather
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments on the new blanket Debi.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed yourself at the campground. Nice to get away now and then.
I just love the blue Granny bag, beautiful work! Always something new to see on your
blog and I enjoy paying you a visit!
Love and best wishes Suex
Is this the Granny Flower Square? I love the veregated yarn for the outside - can't wait to see more of them finished!!
ReplyDeleteIt's very similar - but a little different. I bought the variegated green from Herrschners online - it's called 'Herrschners Worsted Weight' and the color is 'leaf delight'. :)
DeleteIs that orange and white variegated on the place mat? What brand? I have never seen that before. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily. It's the new Red Heart Team Spirit yarn - I bought it online at Herrschners. Here's the link to it:
ReplyDeleteThe flower granny square looks very good, is it part of something bigger?
ReplyDeleteThanks Rajeswari - the squares are going to be a baby blankie. :)
DeleteGreat pictures,Happy crocheting !
ReplyDeleteWow...I love the placemat!
ReplyDeleteThat itty bitty frog was so cute. Are you enjoying the weather at the campgrounds or is it so hot? We are having a bit of a break, but weatherman says more hot weather is on the way. I don't know about everyone else but I think I am ready for fall. You are like me, where ever I go I take along my yarn and a hook too. Love the things you are crocheting. I don't know why what everyone else is doing seems to be more interesting than what I am doing at the moment. Guess I just want to do it all, lol
ReplyDeleteSusanne :)
Hi Susanne. We had a nice time at the campground. It was quite hot, but with the A/C on in the trailer and the fan on the porch, it was bearable. :)
Deletethankyou for stopping by today :)).. Is that little critter a frog?? so tiny..
ReplyDeleteLovely colours in your crochet ..
Hi Pat - yes, that is a tiny little frog - or a toad, I'm not sure. :)
DeleteFabulous placemat! So bright and happy :)
ReplyDeleteI love camping. I love sleeping in a tent. The DH and I have talked many times about going camping with the horses. Love the square. I would never have thought of joining those colors, but wow it works great!
