~ baby hats ~

These are the baby hats that I've crocheted so far.
I still need to add cards to a few of them.
The little cards have printed on them:
~ Dly's baby hats & blankies ~
~ just a little hug ~
~ machine wash and dry ~
***********
On the other side of the cards are cartoon characters of little kids.  Reminds me of the Japanese anime a little bit.
I bought the mini cards from Moo.com
I'm going to the campground tomorrow morning to spend the week cleaning and decorating.  I figured that since the kids are grown (mostly), it's high time that the place looked pretty too.  I'll take before and after pics to show ya'll when I get back - but don't expect too much change.
I'm of course taking lots of yarn with me to crochet more baby hats and a baby blankie - I suppose I'm gonna be real busy.  :)

  1. They're very nice. I like the ones that look a bit like cupcakes. I'm sure those babies will look very cute wearing them.

  3. Those are adorable. Can you provide the link to the cupcake hat pattern or email it to me at thatchbo at hotmail dot com? I am making some baby hats for a local hospital at the moment and those would be so cute to send. Thanks.

  9. I don't have any children, but that is some excellent stitching as usual. I especially love the cupcake ones, and the one with the heart button....and ooo do I detect a crab stitch (a.k.a. reverse sc) finish there, that's what I like!!! I just love to finish of a hat or a pouch with a crab stitch, and it feels almost velvety when done in worsted weight yarns. Oh don't let me get started, lol.

  16. Awesome hats Debi! They're addicting aren't they? They are so quick and easy to make. I can't help you on the washer thing except that I bet it's the pod thingy's. Can't you use regular detergent made for the h e's? I'm betting that some ingredient in the pods doesn't agree with something in your deoderant. I didn't read the other comments...that's just my thoughts. Hope you had a great time at the campground! :o)
