~ Boye hooks giveaway ~

Hi everyone.  I recently went thru all my crochet hooks and I have all these Boye crochet hooks to give away to two (2) lucky winners.  One winner will receive the hooks on the left and one winner will receive the hooks on the right. 

If you would like a chance to win, be a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post only.  I will draw a winner on Wednesday, Aug. 8th at around 10:00 am Eastern time.  This giveaway is open to overseas crocheters too.  Good luck to all.  :)

My daughter brought over some bags of t-shirts that a friend had given her - the bags are from a store called 'Loft'.  Fancy, fancy.  The handles of the bags are either nice ribbons or fancy ropes.  Man - I've been shopping at the wrong stores.  The bags I get are plastic and end up with at least 2 holes in them by the time I get home.  That saying 'you get what you pay for' comes to mind.   

Whatever t-shirts my husband and son don't want will be made into crafty stuff.  I'm thinking t-shirt yarn to crochet into a rug.  I don't know - we'll see.

If so I would LOVE the chance to enter.Do you know I do not own one coloured crochet hook,yet.They are all grey over here :( Im the same with keeping stuff,I'm always thinking I can make something out of that!The family just laugh at me....   17. Boye hooks . . I just LOVE Bye hooks. They are the only hook I can use and not catch my thread or have my thread fall out of the hook. Guess that comes from learning to crochet on my Grandma's Boye hooks.

  30. What a nice giveaway! And making a rug out of the t-shirts is a great idea. Just cut them into strips, starting at the bottom of the shirt and cut just like you would peel an apple so to make long strips. Years ago I made 3 rag rugs for my kitchen from rags to match my blue gingham curtains and I love them.....problem is I can not put them down for now, the dogs like them way too much!

I even have you on my first page of the Flipboard app on my iPad so I can access your posts any time... especially in bed when I'm away from the computer, haha! It's one of my favourite things to do... read all my fave crochet blogs and look at all the pretty pictures and dream that one day I can make all these wonderful things. I've just re-discovered the joy of crochet in the last year (I'm 37 now, first crocheted when 12, but never "took it up").. and wow... the pictures I've seen... mind-blowingly inspirational! Actually...It was on your blog that I stumbled across your poncho CAL post from.. um.. March/April I think...... then found my way to the wonders of Ravelry and Attic24... so I have you to thank (blame!). I was a "follower" through my blog, but then I found out that I can be a real follower by clicking the button on your website:) I love crochet hooks, colorful ones. But actually I was using the same old one for the first 3 months since I started to crochet. Then I got a good deal of crochet hook set on internet. Later on I made a crochet hook bottle for them.
