~ Two on Tuesday ~

Two things that make me smile:

*  getting a sneak peak at my great-nephew who will be here soon.  Just look at that handsome little face.   (isn't technology amazing?)   :)

* watching an old episode of 'Simon and Simon' and catching a glimpse of a granny blanket.  I like that it's actually being used and not just laying on the back of a couch.

  2. I was able to see my new granddaughter this way too! Granny afghan will always be around!

  3. I loved Simon and Simon and I remember how popular Granny blankets were (they're always popular to us crocheters). They say styles come back around every 20 years. I wonder if Granny blankets will make a huge come back soon?

  4. So cool what they can do these days before a baby is born. they never had that when I was expecting my girls. I love it when I see an afghan or quilt used as a prop in a show or movie. Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons had a few things that one could catch a glimpse of now and then.

  5. Wow! Ultrasounds have come a LONG way! That is simply amazing!

And thanks Debi for following TwoLuLa too! I can't tell you how much it brightened my morning to see your name there! Carol and I sort of hit a wall with our tech problems at our original blog site and it was so frustrating! Things appear to be working well at the new site and we are feeling hopeful. Thanks for your support - you are a gem!

  6. Debi what great scans!
    I bet you cant wait!
    Lovely blanket too!
    Love Suex

  7. It's funny, I have recently been noticing a lot of crochet items on TV...pillows and shawls and throws. Lol. Never really paid much attention before. :-)

Adorable great-nephew BTW and beautiful blanket.

Have a great day...and may your yarn ball never run out. ;-)

Thanks for taking the time to leave a message - it always puts a smile on my face. If you have a question - post it here and check back - I will always answer you. :)
