This baby blankie was crocheted using the 'simply pretty' square pattern - I just kept on adding more rounds. After you crochet the square from the pattern, all you have to do is repeat Rnd 7 (the granny stitch rnd), Rnd 5 (the sc rnd) and then Rnd 6 (the ch 3 loop rnd) to make this square any size that you would like.
I used Red Heart Super Saver yarns and a 'J' hook. It measures 33" square.
(we're having really crappy weather today - cold, grey and drizzly - so try as I might, I just could not get a nice picture.)

ReplyDeleteA little Autumn weather here today.. but thats ok,the ground is so dry.. Strange I know with bush fires in West Aus, storms and flooding in NSW & Southern Quld.. and fires still down south of Tas..
But a good day for me, as I can stay inside and craft to my hearts content..Hope you can too :))
Hugs pat :))

Hi Debi! So glad you got to finish you DMIL's final project- that's an honor IMHO. THIS blanket is lovely. I work in a center where many pregnant girls are employed and I think this pattern will come in handy when I make them a blanky. If you didn't post these projects I'd never know! Thank You. Brenda AKA Oldnbroken
