~ Two on Tuesday ~

* celebrated my grandson William's 14th birthday with a dinner at Sakura restaurant.  I can't believe that he's 14 already - I remember carrying baby William around like it was yesterday.

The chef put on a really good show.

* when leaving the CVS drugstore, a woman complimented me on my hair.  She said she loved my curls and the natural looking color.  I thanked her of course, but I had to tell her that I spray 'Sun-In' on it every couple of weeks.  Works wonders on blonde/grey/light brown hair.
That nice lady certainly put a smile on my face.  :)

  3. HI Debi, Just stopping by to say hi. I have busy with grandkids birthdays too..they are making us grow old!! I just wonder what they think about us as grandparents, we see them and we see them growing up and becoming young adults and soon they will have college before them, a career, and a family..do they see us getting old? Do they say my grandma is shrinking or was her hair always that color or was she always that wrinkly? LOL just wondering..I am afraid to ask..I don't think I will like the answer..have a great day

    1. I think of that too Vikki. William probably thinks I'm shrinking - now when he gives me a hug he puts his chin on the top of my head. :)

  5. Happy Birthday to William !! :) it's true, when an outsider compliments, we take it as real and that makes us happy. Otherwise at home sometimes it becomes a ritual for hubby to compliment. But then there is other kind of happiness in that too:)

  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your William, yes, they do grow up so fast don't they. We have Nagoya restaurants around here. Love the food on the grill and the chiefs make the cooking experience look so easy. I doubt that I could do it though.
