~ baby hats from Trish ~

Take a look at these adorable little baby hats that Trish of 'Tales from Trish' crocheted for the 'guardian grandmas'.  I received them in the mail yesterday and they're my very 1st donation.  I'm very happy.  Thank you so much Trish!

A note about the 'guardian grandmas' - if you would like to be a guardian grandma or an honorary guardian grandma, but would rather donate to your own local hospital - that would be perfectly fine.  Just let me know so I can add your name to our list of 'guardian grandmas'.  :)

  3. Good Morning Debi, Your guardian grandmas logo is so SWEET! I just love it. :)
I had a thought... Wouldn't it be so cute crocheted up and used as an embellishment for your little hats? Maybe you thought of that too? I'm so sure you could work up a pattern and create one because you are so talented that way! Next week I am starting a couple of granny ponchos for my little granddaughters for Christmas. Instead of embellishing them with flowers I thought I would add a heart motif, overlayed with a smaller heart, representing myself and my little ones. A little personal touch from Grandma. :) I guess that's what got me thinking about your logo. Anyway, your hats are adorable as are Trish's. What you are doing with the hats is a lovely act of kindness and love. penny x

  4. Debi! Just read about the Guardian Grandmas, what a great initiative! I have a blankie laying here, waiting for a home, it's a square blanket made from 4 large granny squares. It's a mix-match of colors, mostly blue and purple. Would your group be interested?

  11. She was sure on the ball and made some cute little hats. As promised I will be sending you something hopefully this next week. Sometimes there just isn't enough time in a day/week to get all the things I want to do done. So glad to see that your new cause is off to a good start.

I need to get on the ball and get some things made for you. I am almost finished with my August obligations and this one will go at the top of my list for September. ;)

  13. Wonderful idea sweetie-I'd definitely like to make some donations (which will have to go to local hospitals as I'm in the UK). Once I've caught up a bit on the project backlog!
