Sorry that someone has undeservedly been criticizing you about the square you designed. It was nice seeing you on the video. I look forward to your posts and patterns.--Sharon
The only thing better than pizza and cake is crochet!
Love your videos! And of course you don't steal patterns. This is such a big topic. I don't know if there's a similar square out there or not but even if there is it's common for people to come up with similar ideas even around the same time; we're all pulling from the same inspirations, etc. I'm sorry that you're having trouble in regards to this.PS - Great snake!
You just keep on making videos Debi....I just love them. It makes me feel as if I am in the same room with you, enjoying your conversations even if you had to vent a little.....you were entitled to do so in my book!Isn't Miss Luna the sweetest...how thoughtful of her to make all those little hats. I need to get back into making baby stuff...I used to make them all the time and not sure why I ever stopped!xx Shari
Loved the video Debi you keep them coming, love the little hats from Luna so cute. :)
LOVE your videos, Debi. I miss A.C. Moore, so whenever we go to visit our sons in upstate NY, I do a big shopping day at the store there. I come home with bags full of yarn! Please keep the videos coming.
I have to ask you an autograph !!!! With your videos, you are becoming a STAR !!!!!!xxxxxxxx Ale

How nice it is to sit in my craft room (not as tidy as yours lol ) and watch and listen to a blogging friend ... It makes it personal.... thanks for sharing Debi Hugs pat ..
I love your videos, please making making them. They are as good as meeting you! I wondered if these knitting machines were toys but now I see they are useful. Love your crafty corner :)Have a nice day!!
Thank you, thank you for posting your rant! I have been having sort of the similar problems with Facebook comments. I'm going to explain more on my blog. You made me feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one that can rant!
Oh Debi, it will take me a month od Sundays to catch up on all your posts, your videos and everything else going on here in your corner of the world. I am braving the cold and in my one room where my pc is, the heat has been turned off back here and so I have been absent a bit from blogging, but I just posted and trying to get in the groove again. I will be back.Love you,(((HUGS))) Susanne :)
Welll Mrs Debi !.....talking about the "Innovations " Machine ...I have to tell you that I love it....I have quiet a long time,I bought mine on E BAY like 3 or 4 years ago may be more....but since I always working and using the crochet hooks did not pay to much attention to it ......now I saw using yours and start watching some videos and getting started on it and the result is good.I want to buy the Addi Express but I'm using this one first to learn more.....but I love it.Always wanted to learn knitting .....still want to .....but with the machine is very , very fast ....quick.In reference of your square ...I haven't see it yet...no where else.Sometime people judge without gathering more Information......just tell this person to read this article.....this is the link.... http://www.tabberone.com/Trademarks/CopyrightLaw/Patterns.shtml
I want to try to start making some art videos. How do you do it? I have a video camera. Do you just record then upload it to youtube? what is the easiest way? what tips/pointers do you have for making videos? :) thanks!
Hi Niki. I use my Sony Cyber-shot camera to make my videos. I upload the video to Picasa and then from there I upload it up to YouTube. It's very easy to do. I really don't have any tips or pointers about making videos since I'm still learning myself. The only thing I can say is to try and relax - pretend like you're talking to a family member. Good luck and have fun. :)
That baby is so cute, he reminds me of my grandson Holden. Love the video and how he put his hat back on. Love babies and all their sweetness.(((HUGS))) Susanne :)
It amazes me that with all the crocheters in the world, all looking at each others work it doesn't cross that persons mind (the one who said about your square) that it's completely possible for people to get very similar ideas. It doesn't mean at all that it wasn't original. Maybe she has worked on something similar in the past, who knows, but if she's a regular reader of your blog, she should surely realise that you often make up your own patterns and then kindly share them with others. It's sad to think someone just judges like that. :(I wouldn't let it overly bother you Debi. I'm pretty sure that most of your followers know better. It had never even crossed my mind and to be honest, I'm just grateful for your generosity in sharing things with the rest of us.I love your snake!! As I said previously, we call them draft excluders here but I LOVE the term, 'draft dodgers'!!!That is so cute. I think I might have to start using that instead myself, lol.Oh and like everyone else, I love your video's. So don't feel you ever have to apologise or limit posting them.Take care!!:)
Thanks for taking the time to leave a message - it always puts a smile on my face. If you have a question - post it here and check back - I will always answer you. :)
