  2. I'm really tired of it too. Got home from Florida late Thursday evening and almost immediately came down with flu/cold symptoms. Snow here today too. Hands got stiff when I was down but now are loosening up as I've started crocheting a bit. We need to have a crochet retreat somewhere warm that we can visit in the cold months. :)

  3. Your blanket is growing fast, Debi!! How much big are you going to make?
Here the summer has started. By end of April and in May it will be hotter, unbearably hot....42-44 C :( I am always scared of those 2 months. When I cook, I feel I am standing in a furnace :( and Indian cooking is usually elaborate...easily takes 2 hrs. for one full meal to cook.

    1. Hi Preeti. 'The crochet mood blanket 2014' is supposed to last all year, but I'm thinking this blanket will probably be finished around the 5 month mark. :)

  6. I can't believe you have got snow! I would be so fed up if we got it at this time of the year but it happens and there is still time for it to fall here too, I hope it rains and washes it all away! your blanket is looking really pretty Debi, the colours blend really nicely together. :)

  12. Oh Debi! You gave me such a laugh with your comment about being tired of Mother Nature's s**t!! I've been gone for a week & couldn't wait to come here & read your blog & feel some bit of normalcy in my life (my daughter-in-law passed away unexpectedly last Monday). I know you have been through loss & heartache, too. Just want to thank you for being a bright spot in my day. May our love & appreciation for your efforts be an encouragement to you in return.

  15. I know Debi, a bit more snow 3 times this week and the guys are suppose to be putting new shingles on 2 of my out buildings. We are in a time warp of winter and while other people are posting about their flowers in bloom I am still freezing here in Ohio.
    (((HUGS))) Susanne :)
