~ a giveaway ~

**this giveaway is closed**

I haven't done one of these in a long while - so let's do one now.
A couple weeks ago I went to Tuesday Morning and bought a pair of Susan Bates size 15 US (10.00 mm), 14" long knitting needles, and 3 skeins of Red Heart Shimmer yarn - the color is 'lime'.  It is a medium size 4, 97% acrylic/3 metallic polyester yarn.  Machine wash, tumble dry.  Each skein weighs 3.5 oz and a size I (5.5mm) hook is recommended.

If you would like a chance to win this prize - all you have to do is be a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post only.

I will choose a winner on Sunday, April 6th.  Good luck!  :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know, I know - I had thought that I would try knitting again, but I think I might go with loom knitting instead.
And stay tuned - I might have another giveaway with the pink Pound of Love that I bought since I went back to Tuesday Morning and couldn't resist buying another one.  What can I say? - it was half price.  :)
  6. Just yesterday I was thinking about how long it's been since I've used Red Heart Shimmer!! I went through a spell of just loving it and couldn't tell you why I stopped (other than standard yarn distraction!)
    That lime green sure is "SPRING-LIKE"!!
  8. I love that yarn and I have it in other colorways, but for some reason not the green. That's really strange given the fact that my favorite color is green. :)
  12. I always enjoy your blog, especially the video ones. Can I please be included in your generous giveaway? BTW you have inspired me to give my Prym (same as Innovation) knitting machine another try. I just couldn't get the hang of it and just put it aside. xox
  13. No, no!!! Keep the needles!!! lol
    One day who knows, you just may get inspired. So you need to keep the needles to hand ;)
    I just recently got my looms out and although I've only used one size, I really like it.
    I'm sure you'll enjoy using them.
    I'm experimenting with yarn thicknesses and so far I like to use a real chunky yarn for hats.
    The yarn is very pretty and spring like!!
    :)
