~ a scarf, a new blankie, and my day ~

In this picture, the buttons are just glued on - I sewed them on later that evening with knit-cro-sheen.
The buttons are hiding mistakes that were made.

A pile of scrap yarns that will be tied together and wound into a yarn cake with my yarn winder.  I am planning on starting a scrappy blanket with it.  :)

  2. Glad you had a pink day; sounds like it was a busy one. I love your scarf; I never would have known you used the buttons to cover mistakes. They make cute decorations. It's nice to see your critters. Are those dwarf hamsters? We've had those before; ours bit, too. Here's hoping for more pink days :-)

  8. A creative approach even to mistakes in knitting! So very well done :)
I alos keep my yarn balls in a jar, but plastic one. It is really convenient, you always see what colors you have and what scarps are left :)

    1. Hmmm - tired feet? I'd say that would have to be like a dark grey or something. I get those days sometimes too. Have a great day Charlotte. :)

  11. Your scarf is very pretty, Debi!!:) I also hide my mistakes with buttons. But if I make many, then I would think about other options.
