  2. I always enjoy your video posts Debi and this one was just like having a chat with a friend over breakfast. I'm in Australia so I catch up on my blog reading each morning and see what you guys have posted overnight. I was trying to make out what was on the front of your tee shirt ...... was that a Pug? I've had Pugs on and off since I was a kid but at the moment we have a Griffon Bruxellois. My daughter has a Pug and as a matter of fact he will be coming here for the next 2 weeks while K and G go on their honeymoon. Have a great day. xox

    1. Thanks Dorothy - I enjoy making them.
My tee shirt has a bulldog on it - it says "roses are grey - violets are grey - I'm a dog". I thought it was cute. You've probably seen my dogs Tex and Ladybug - they're mutt dogs, but I love 'em silly.
I don't think I know what a Griffon Bruxellois looks like - I'll have to do a Google search.
      Have a good evening. :)

  4. Oh goody...a video! I like watching them. The yarns look lovely. Maybe you could show how the serger works... no idea what it does. Looking forward to your videos from the campground. I confess...I am getting addicted to your videos. Maybe I day I will take inspiration from you and make a video myself to show a new stitch or pattern. You and Vince have a great time. Your new project looks like an elf hat?!

  8. Wow!! Lovely yarn, Debi !!:) We don't get such super saver yarn balls here. But why did you buy doilies ? You crochet doilies too, right?are they some kind of iron on doilies?
Serger has always been a tool of curiosity for me. Looks very complicated.
    Enjoy your camping!!:)

    1. Hi Preeti. I rarely crochet doilies anymore. It's too hard on my eyes, even with my glasses. Besides - I couldn't pass up the great deal of only $1.50 each. :)

  12. I love your video posts Debi, it's like we're sitting together just having a chat, it's great!!
    :)
Love the new yarns, we don't get all the choices you do over here in the UK, so I love seeing yours.
The serger looks a bit complicated. I'm even terrified of my little sewing machine though, so that's probably why I think that, lol
Hope you had a great time at the campground together and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with all your lovely bargains now as well.
    Take care
    :)
