~ 2 small projects ~

Here's another cocoon for a little boy.  (I sewed on the button after I took this picture.)

I used Red Heart Super Saver and a 'J' hook.

Ladybug needed a new neckerchief, so I crocheted a half granny and added ties.

She seems to like it.  :)

Look at this little dude.  He seems to think he's a bird.  :)

I hope you're enjoying your evening.

  1. Your dogs must have some age, cause Sloan's dog would eat a kerchief if I put one around his neck!:-)

    1. Hi Charlotte. Both Tex and Ladybug are 13 years old. They like their neckerchiefs because I tell them how handsome and pretty they are. :)

Your dogs are beautiful. Is that a squirrel? (sorry - from Australia) - Robyn

  5. Hi Debi! I was just curious...how popular are the cocoons vs a blanket? I see alot of them being made but I could have sworn I read somewhere that the're kind of inconvenient for the baby. I have a couple books on them but I have been afraid to try. I use to do more complex things then when back to simplified. BTW I only crochet for charities so I would prefer what I make gets used.

Love you block. I enjoy reading it, you have such an upbeat personality and I enjoy seeing what you have made.

    1. To be honest Sherry - I'm not sure. I've only made cocoons for friends of relatives and for the hospital, so I haven't heard anything about the ease of use. I would imagine that it wouldn't be too hard to put a baby in one if the baby is wrapped in a receiving blanket, but if the baby is able to move his arms and legs around, that might be a little tricky. :)
