~ Two on Tuesday ~

* a new place to crochet.  Vince and I power washed the front porch and added 2 chairs and a table.  The chairs we bought at the thrift store - I recovered the seats, and Vince made the table for me.

* spending time with my grandson Will.  I'm driving him back and forth to summer school and we get to talk in the morning and in the afternoon.  Will, of course, doesn't like summer school, but it's the price you have to pay sometimes.

  1. Doing a little crocheting out on the porch is nice. Mine is the back porch.

  2. That's a nice place to crochet :) this reminds me that I should soon clean my front balcony and start crocheting there.

  3. Your front porch looks like a great crochet spot. I like the fabric you picked to recover the chairs, very light and airy. It's nice that you live so close to your grandchildren and can spend that extra time with them. We just see my mom a couple times a year. Have a great day Debi. Heather

  7. Oh my, as hot as it has been here I would absolutely die if I had to handle yarn anywhere outside. Give me the ac and my easy chair and I'm a happy camper. You tell your guy Will to hang in there, summer is almost over. You and I know that this could be an incentive for him to try harder when the school years starts. Face it, we would no doubt agree 100% with him, summer school would royally suck!

    1. Thanks Charlotte. I don't know why William always tries to hide from the camera, but he's ok with it if I ask him. James on the other hand, is a little ham and will always act up for the camera. :)
