~ crafty projects and my vops blanket finale ~

I was inspired by 'Lazy Daisy Jones' to craft this beaded hanger.  It was very easy to do.  All you need is a wire hanger, a pair of pliers, and some pony beads.  I didn't add beads to the hook part, but I'm thinking that I need to add something to the section where the beads come together.

This is a little rock I drew our campsite on to.

I have finished my vops blanket.  I didn't measure it, but in the second picture it's on our queen size bed.  I didn't make it for the queen bed though - it's for a twin size bed.  :)

See ya next time.  :)

  1. Love the rock! Made me laugh! Your VOPS blanket turned out great. You have more patience than I do to mess with those beads! But they look good.

  4. Debi, that's adorable the way you set the video to music,....the joy of seeing your afghan come together like that! I'm at my son's house and he has an A.C. Moore within walking distance. I'm there nearly every-single-day; stockpiling yarn for Winter!

  6. Your blanket turned out gorgeous, Debi! I love that painted rock. Rick picked a nice rock up for me on our vacation in May, and I want to draw a lighthouse on it. :) Also, I love those hangers. I just might have to borrow that idea! :)

  18. Hi Debi, Love your blog! I think I got here via Pinterest....lol. What variation of the granny square are you using in your VOPS Blanket? I can't quite see what it is. Love the idea of no solids in this except for bordering. I'm a random, colourful kind of gal myself. Super way to use up all my left overs. Thanks so much, Mona
