~ granny square lapghan for my Mom ~

I  crocheted this lapghan for my Mom using yarns that had belonged to my late Aunt Lena.  Aunt Lena is my Mom's sister, and she passed away in April.  I also crocheted hats for my Uncle Chris (her brother), and my Uncle Phil (her husband).

Thanks for dropping by.  :)

  5. Beautiful!! I have a few questions: will you be providing a pattern, what are the final measurements and did you use worsted yarn?

    Thank you,

    1. Thank you. No pattern - it's just a basic granny square. It measures around 38" square, and I used worsted weight yarns. :)

    2. Hi! Am fairly new croceter though have knitted and other needlework for decades...like your patterns especially for the very clear direction, as well as the beauty and uniqueness.😃 But, I do have a problem with my Baby Ferris Wheel blanket: about R. 12-13 it started to ruffle and now @ R. 18 wouldmake a gorgeous ballet tutu.I would appreciate suggestions for blocking ,(or?), to flatten it for our brand new baby boy G-grandson. Thanks, in advance, for any help offered.

    3. Hi Patty. The baby ferris wheel blanket does ruffle, but not until around the end. If you can email me a picture of your blanket I can try to see what the problem is. My email is dlyrs@juno.com
