Crochet and crafts 7-4-18

Print Friendly and PDF

  1. Hi Debbie,

I just LOVE the purses you made. Are they hard to make? I'd love to try one of these. I would like to keep my yarn in on projects that I'm working on. I wouldn't need the strap, but I just love how you have made them!

Your super idea about putting the wooden beads on the smaller crochet hook is brilliant! I have a hard time wrapping my hands around the smaller hooks. I think the wooden beads would be perfect. I'm heading to the Dollar Tree ASAP to see if they have any of those lovely-colored beads.
I'm not sure where you said to find the pattern for the blanket you are working on with the granny square center and then the different pattern after that. Oh MY GOODNESS! I love how the pattern looks and would enjoy crocheting this one for a dear friend.
Can you please advise me as to where on your blog you have the pattern listed? I watched your video two times but got confused about the "different" rows you were talking about without the pattern in front of me. Please list WHERE I CAN FIND THE PATTERN ON YOUR BLOG. I'm pretty excited about this pattern and will be itching to hear back.

Your new yarn is so pretty. I was at Walmart the other day and a woman was buying these "cakes" as she called them. She makes shawls for herself with these pretty "cakes" and loves how the colors turn out. Hmmm, I'm kind of wanting to try this yarn, but have no clue what to make with it - I'm not into afghans right now, so maybe the purse.
I am madly IN LOVE with the red one you made. WHAT COLOR & YARN did you use for the RED BAG?
As always, I so appreciate your videos and I always come away inspired from everyone of your videos because you have so many wonderful projects.

Thank you for taking the time to encourage and inspire me (and I'm sure others as well). By watching you and seeing all your pretty projects, I'm trying new patterns and branching out a little.

Thank You Again ~ Bobbie :)

    1. Hi Bobbie. Thank you so much. The red bag is actually 4 different shades of pink held together. It is a basic increase circle, then even (no increasing) single crochet worked for the body. The pattern I used for the blankets is called 'simply pretty' and I have it posted here on this blog. Type in simply pretty in the search bar up on the top left of this page and it will come up. Links don't work in my comment section, but you can copy this and see if it works for you - Thanks again - I hope you have a great day. :)

Thanks for taking the time to leave a message - it always puts a smile on my face. If you have a question - post it here and check back - I will always answer you. :)
