ReplyDeleteGreat square Debi. I don't know how you do it, you have such wonderful ideas and you turn things out so quickly. This would be darling made up for a girls room in either a blanket or pillow.
ReplyDeleteHow great that you're doing a square for SIBOL! I'm going to be doing a bunch of donation crochet after the holidays are over and SIBOL is definitely on my list.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Wiggles are such fun to do.

Hey, a nice illustration and description of how to work this square.
ReplyDeleteThe decoration reminds me of a cream-decoration on sweet pies. :-)

Thank you all so much ladies. :)
Love this thanks for sharing I think I might give it a try:) I love ur work
ReplyDeleteI love this square and thanks for showing how to do it. xx
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely square :)

Rnd 1: Ch 4, 2 dc in 4th ch from hook,..... 2 dc in same ch.
Btw, where do you get your lovely crochet hooks?
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Madeleine for letting me know - I have corrected the pattern. I make my own crochet hooks - click on the crochet hook over on the right sidebar and it will take you to the post where I explain how to make them. :)
Oh I love it! I'm so going to try this, it's gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing Debi. I shall be trying this out as soon as I can.
ReplyDelete:)
I love this square! Thanks for sharing the pattern with us. I think I'll try it tonight.
ReplyDeleteYou don't state how many skeins needed for the afghan? Guess I'll just guess and stick with Redheart yarn.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim and Pammy Sue. :)
ReplyDeleteKimberly N. - I didn't make an afghan - just this one square.
What a neat idea!
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern. Thank you for sharing. Will try and make it in purple, lime green, and turquoiseblue, my granddaughter's favorite colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you - and you're welcome. You've picked out pretty colors. :)
DeleteStrange thing happened when I tried to print the pattern for wiggles square,it came out with no words only numbers . Never had that happen before.wow can't follow that pattern. HELP!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy. I'm sorry you're having problems printing out the pattern - I don't understand what could be happening. I just tried it and it worked for me. The only thing I can suggest is to copy the pattern and paste it to a word document and then print it from there.
DeleteI'm so glad I found your blog! I absolutely love this block and may try an afghan!! Purple & pink are my granddaughters' favorite colors.. actually, one likes pink and the other one likes purple.. this should work just great.. THANKS!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this wiggle stitch! Beyond me how you thought of it! I'm have trouble with the second round of 'wiggles' though. Should I skip every other double chrochet? I have too many if I do every one.
ReplyDeleteA very cute and fun square to make, Debi!! I enjoyed making my cushion with this pattern :)

So simple and yet, so nice. I'm going to try it right away. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this pattern. My widowed BIL has dementia (still early stages) I'm using this pattern in a blanket for him. As people with dementia progress they get anxious and having various textures to feel helps them settle. So this will be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI just made this and instead of doing a small square, I did a huge blanket square and it turned out AWESOME!!! Thanks for the pattern, I love it!
