~ handlebar tassels ~


I need to fancy up my bike a little so I made handlebar tassels.  I think they're so stinkin' cute.  Ha-ha.  They only took a few minutes to make - and if you want to make a pair, here's how:

What you will need:

- 2 ponytail elastics
- worsted weight acrylic yarns in whatever colors you would like
- an 'I' hook

To make:

Ch 35, sc around the ponytail elastic, ch 35.  End off.

Repeat as many times as you would like.

Now go and wrap these babies around your handlebars just like you would for a ponytail.  I guarantee that they will put a smile on your face.  :)

Vince told me that mountain bikes are not supposed to be pretty.  Whatever - I don't climb mountains anyway - I only ride up and down the side street with James.

p.s.  Vince found this bike for me at a thrift store for $40.00
