Dollar store yarn

Wow! - I hit the jackpot today at the Dollar Tree. Twelve skeins of the prettiest yarns. Woo-hoo. Yarn like this can go for $5.99 a skein and up. What am I going to make with this? Maybe a little purse - maybe a scarf - I don't know. I'll have fun though. :)

A couple of projects

Here are a couple of items I've made in the last couple of weeks. A purse of course, and a fleece blanket. The fleece blanket was made by sewing 2 remnants I bought at Joann Fabrics together and then cutting the edges into fringe. The purse I crocheted with 2 strands of Red Heart Plush yarn and I used an "L" hook. The Plush yarn I got from Yvette - a friend in my crochet group - we did a swap.
