Quick & easy brown purse

Materials:
- 3 ½ oz. ww acrylic (I used TLC Essentials)
- 2 oz. acrylic-polyester boucle (I used Bernat Soft Boucle)
- L hook
- two 7” purse rings
- (optional) fabric for lining

Size:  Approximately 10” x 15” not including handles

Note:
Work with 1 strand ww acrylic and 1 strand boucle held together throughout.

Directions:
Row 1: Sc around one ring, ch 50, sc around the other ring. Ch 1, turn.

Row 2: Sc in first 10 chs, dc in next 30 chs, sc in last 10 chs. Sc around ring. Ch 1, turn.

Rows 3 - 22: Sc in 1st 10 sc, dc in next 30 dc, sc in last 10 sc, sc around ring. Ch 1, turn.

At end of Row 22, sl st in 1st sc, end off.

Now would be a good time to line your purse with fabric if desired. Be careful to leave edges of Rows 1 and 22 free for sewing together.

Match dc stitches together and sl st or whipstitch closed.

My projects

Here's the projects that I worked on while "cromping". A scrap round ripple, a round shell afghan, some squares for my "Babette" afghan and a brown purse. The purse is my design and I will be posting that pattern a little later for my crochet friends.

Campground stuff

Here's my view from the porch while I'm relaxing and crocheting. I just love that place. In the picture with the bowling pin (which looks out across the "street") there is a lot that Vince and I are interested in buying. Believe it or not, there is a trailer in those weeds.

Bracelet & earrings

While at the Dollar Tree, I also found some glass beads. I bought a few packs and made this bracelet and earrings set. Quite simple - but pretty.

Little garden

Vince built up this little garden for me about a month ago. I've only planted 1 cucumber bush and 1 tomato plant. We'll see how it goes ( with the dogs running around it) and maybe next year I'll do more.

Steering wheel cover

Crocheted a new steering wheel cover for my PT Cruiser. I used Red Heart Sparkling (discontinued) and an "I" hook.
